If you plan to do the Venice day trip from Lido Di Jesolo in the summer one good tip is to take the afternoon/evening excursion when it is cooler and you can walk around the city with ease. You can enjoy an organised hour of sight seeing around Venice centre and St Marc's Square then wander off on your own to explore the delightful Campielli (little squares) and old fashioned eateries.
