Food in this area is geared towards the international crowd so you are bound to find something to suit your tastes.

Maspalomas has been described as Playa Del Ingles more upmarket neighbour amd the atmosphere is more sedate. One of the nicest features of this area are the 3kn expanse of sand dunes.  For the more active there is a water park and also an 18 hole golf course as well as some shopping centres near by.

Puerto Rico is situated on the cliff face and offers breathtaking views of the two harbours and promenade below. This resort is not suited to guests with mobility difficulties due to it's location. Puerto Rico will suit those looking for a beautiful base in Gran Canaria with great views, and a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The man made white sands of Amadores is within walking distance.

All this and less than 4 and a half hours away from the UK. Not far to travel for guaranteed year round sunshine, great nightlife and fabulous shops and beaches.
