In comparison to other countries Egypt is still a very affordable place for a luxury holiday especially in the winter when the weather is still nice and in comparison to places like the Carribean, Egypt is more convenient to get too and cheaper too. Winter is a good time to visit Egypt as the weather is a perfect climate, no too hot and stuffy as it can get in the height of summer. If you are wanting to go site seeing in cities such as Luxor then it is even more important to go when the weather is not so hot, as this makes it unbearable for walking around and bus trips to see the famous sites. It is also hotter in the cities than on the coast as you will find with most places.

You can reach Naama Bay by taxi from the main hotels in Sharm El Sheikh and the taxi ride is about 10-15 minutes. You will find the taxis very cheap as well.

Resorts in the Hurghada also make a great alternative to Sharm El Sheikh which lovely beaches and some great bars and restaurants.
